Riley Greene Takes Another Step Toward Return
The Detroit Tigers desperately need Riley Greene back, and progress is being made. Greene was back in the Comerica Park clubhouse Monday afternoon, Aug. 24, ahead of the opener of a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays, doing some outfield drills before the game. Greene is eligible to come off the IL any day, but he's going to get a rehab assignment first, with Greene back in Detroit so he can work more closely with the team's hitting and outfield coaches. The Tigers have gone 2-9 after losing Greene, which marks the worst record in the American League over that span. Source: Sports Illustrated
